Peak PCAN-Term ensures simple and fast termination of any high-speed CAN or CAN FD product. The connector is used when a CAN node without internal termination needs to be terminated or when no CAN node is connected at the end of the CAN bus. According to ISO 11898-2, high-speed CAN buses/systems must be terminated at their ends with resistors.

The D-Sub termination connector can also be used for CAN FD buses.
