Many motor vehicles are equipped with an OBD-2 interface for connecting various diagnostic and test equipment. The Peak PCAN-Cable OBD-2 provides access to the CAN bus in the OBD-2 interface. The remaining positions in the OBD-2 connector are unoccupied.

This cable can also be used for CAN FD networks.
